RESPONDING to concerns raised by constituents in over the difficulty of accessing NHS dentists in North Wales, Brynle Williams, Assembly Member for the region, said: “Nearly four years after the new dentistry contract, North Wales is the only region where the majority of adults go without dental treatment on the NHS. |

Speaking in this afternoon’s Assembly debate on remote rural areas, Shadow Minister for Rural Affairs, Brynle Williams AM, highlighted the need to provide isolated communities with services tailored to their needs. The North Wales AM said the closure of community facilities such as post offices, shops, schools and pubs had had a damaging impact on local life, and warned that depopulation is making matters worse. |

COMMENTING on the new Glastir agri-environment scheme following a visit to two typical Meirionnydd hill farms with the Assembly’s Rural Development Committee, Brynle Williams AM, Shadow Minister for Rural Affairs, said: "I have serious concerns that such little progress has been made in confirming the details of Glastir. "Farmers are being asked to tick boxes on their SFP application to show interest, but there are no clear details on what they are signing up to. |
